at Writers ‘Round chapters across America, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, Knoxville, and New Jersey. And we’re just getting started. More artists are joining this quickly growing grassroots organization of singer-songwriters every week, either by getting involved as a performer or an audience member.

We’re not in this for the money.
Our mission is to build and serve community through warm, welcoming spaces, where artists and audiences connect through Nashville-style songwriter rounds, featuring the best talent from the local music scene, and beyond.
We view door/cover charges as a barrier, not a bridge, so our showcases around the country are FREE to enter, though age restrictions may apply at certain venues.
We simply ask that patrons support the venues by purchasing available food and beverages, and encourage audience members to tip the featured performers in each round.
Our long-term goal is to utilize this vast network of musical talent to serve the community at large, through benefit shows, fundraisers, and educational events. In the meantime, we’re building a national network of connection for independent artists to take advantage of at home, or on the road.
Curated & Open Rounds
Our goal is to curate rounds featuring three amazing performers, of any and all genres, at various stages of career, from local gigging to Grammy winning.
We love the songwriter round format because it facilitates a deeper connection between the individuals sharing the stage, and encourages storytelling and spontaneous collaboration.
We always host at least one “open round,” inviting any singer-songwriters in the audience to submit their name for a chance to be picked at random to play a few songs.
The combination of curated and open rounds creates simply magical evenings, centered around and celebrating the craft of songwriting, guaranteeing a fantastic live listening experience, and also giving newcomers a chance to be seen, heard, and get involved.
